Extension Activity: I could use this activity in a social studies lesson. When teaching about different cultures I would explain how we are all different but that doesn't mean we can't get along. I would explain how amazing it is to be different and how important it is to accept others and unify. I would have the students write about their culture and what makes them special.

Drawing Lesson
Activity: This was a drawing lesson that taught about warm and cool colors. We used oil pastels and blended them onto different hands using cool colors on one hand, and warm colors on the other hand. We also incorporated scratch art into this activity for the first letter of the word we picked from peace, unity, and kindness. We used different designs in our scratch art to use variety. After we had finished gluing the hands and our scratch art, we explained 3 things our words mean to us.
