Activity: In this lesson, we learned about animals that live in the safari. We also learned that by making patterns with warm colors, we could hide the cool color design we had under it. We had made red glasses that would make our hidden animal appear, I had chosen to make a monkey under my designs! After we had finished our designs on top of our animal, we wrote 3 hints about our hidden animal.
Extension Activity: I would use this activity in a history lesson, I would have the students draw a picture of one of the U.S. presidents in light blue and write facts about that president using warm colors over their picture, that way students will learn about the mystery president before they reveal the identity!
