Activity: In this lesson, we learned about 2-D and 3-D designs. We learned about making different techniques with the paper such as crimping, twirling, and fringing. We had to use 2 warm colors and 2 cool colors, and 2 different paper techniques to make our monster. We had the head of our monster stick out from our paper to give the 3-D effect. This was a super fun project and had challenged me to think of ways to make my monster unique.
Extension Activity: I would use this in an English lesson, I would have the student read a book and create the main character using this 3-D effect. I would also challenge them to write a paragraph about the main character and explain why they used the features they did.
